The MVCD 3+ Program Book (2022) was created to document and communicate the intensive, accelerated curriculum of the first year in the Visual Communication Design 3+ program at The Design School, Arizona State University. This program is designed for graduate students without a prior background in design. To achieve this, I collected, organized, and designed materials from the program’s assignments, processes, and foundational coursework, transforming them into a cohesive visual and informational format.

The cover features multiple corrections made in blue pen from a previous book cover assignment, where the typography was handset to explore relationships between text, define visual hierarchies, and examine spatial and typographic composition. The rest of the book follows this theme, printed in the indigo blue of the correction marks. The final book provides a clear and comprehensive overview of the 3+ experience, illustrating the progression from design fundamentals to graduate-level readiness in the Master of Visual Communication Design program.
